Combination packing of GFO and Aramid is a class of strong, highly tensile and heat resistive synthetic fibre. Its structure consist of a large chain of molecules that are highly oriented along the fibre axis which results in a higher proportion of the chemical bond to provide greater strength and a very high melting point which lie above 500 degree Celsius.Combination packing of GFO and Aramid is produced by the spinning of the dissolved polymer into a solid fibre from a liquid chemical blend. It is widely used in large number of applications like heat-protective clothing and helmets body armour, composite materials, as a replacement of asbestos in brake linings, hot air filtration fabrics, tires, mechanical rubber goods, ropes and cables.
